So rather than just throw you the previous “my shit’s broke” post and let you dwell on that for a few more weeks before my next post (I kid!), I have an honest question to ask…

Does anyone have any favorites when it comes to websites for hosting video online?

Before you answer… “yes, I’ve heard of YouTube“. I just don’t really want to be in “that mix” (at least in the near future).  I have dabbled with YouTube and blip.tv before (bet you didn’t know about that, did ya!?). I do really like blip.tv, but you can’t upload something and make it private or just share with a select group. You upload something there and everyone and their brother can have at it. Â

I eventually plan on using blip.tv (or something else if I find something better) for a little experiment I’m working on.  For now I just have some embarrassing videos of family members playing Guitar Hero 3 from Thanksgiving that I’d like to share with them and not some pre-teen from Pigsknuckle, Arkansas (nothing against you, if you’re a loyal marusin.com reader!)…  :)Â

I know some people are detered by the cost of FeedLounge, but if it’s a useful tool then it’s totally worth it to me. I use my RSS reader more than anything else other than my actual operating system.

On yesterday’s Croncast, Kris and Betsy brought up an interesting question:

“If I was a car, what kind of car would I be?”

With that question repeating itself over and over in my head, I spent the rest of my morning commute thinking about what kind of car I would be… After much thought (and analyzing every car I passed or was stuck behind), I finally figured it out…

I would be a Volvo 240 Station Wagon. Practical, a bit quirky, but unexpectedly cool. :)

What kind of car would you be?

FYI, that’s not me in the back of the car. Picture “borrowed” from some site in Sweden…

We have a bird who has decided to build a nest and lay it’s eggs inside the exhaust duct from our oven’s vent hood. I did not invite them there and am willing to do anything to get them out.

The duct on the side of our house is too tall to reach with a ladder. Is there anything I can do from the inside to gas them out or something? I don’t really feel like removing the whole microwave/hood to get at them (nor do I want them to get further inside my house than they already are).
