and then there were snakes…
Years from now I will be able to tell my children and grandchildren that I was there. There was a point that I didn’t think I was going to make it with a meeting and drinks going long, but I headed directly to the theater with 15 minutes to spare for the World Naperville premier of Snakes On A Plane.
Rick and Kris both have already given their take on things and I have to agree completely: I cannot remember the last time that I have had this much fun at a movie. There were costumes and rubber snakes flying (I had a bag loaded and ready but never went home to change/pick it up). For those of you who have seen the movie, I have two words for you: “Snake Vision”! :)
I guarantee that you will be seeing this movie at the local “art theater” for years to come in the spirit of Rocky Horror. Without a doubt, the theater experience and crowd interacting is what made this film. I don’t see cozying up on the couch and enjoying it as much when it comes out on DVD (although, don’t get me wrong ~ I will own this movie when it’s available!).
Definitely do yourself a favor and go see Snakes On A Plane in a theater. You will not be sorry.
