I ping them on every post and none of my tags ever get picked up. If you go there and check out <a href="http://www.technorati.com/tag/marusin" rel="nofollow">the marusin tag</a>, the last post updated is 121 days ago. I haven't had good luck with them with other things as well so I don't know if it's me or them (I love using that line). :) Personally, I think Technorati is a bit jacked up.
