Tagging arrives (a year late)
I’ve been doing some experimenting with things and have started implementing tags over the last couple of days to my posts on marusin.com.
I just flipped the switch for them to actually display on the site. I don’t know how I feel about things so far, so we shall see if I keep them or not. Along with being able to link to other similarly tagged posts, you can also link to Technorati to see posts from everywhere that are tagged with the same item.

I don’t think it’s necessary to add tags when you’re using WordPress. Technorati is able to read the WordPress categories from the RSS feed.

Personally, I think Technorati is a bit jacked up. I ping them on every post and none of my tags ever get picked up. If you go there and check out the marusin tag, the last post updated is 121 days ago.
I haven’t had good luck with them with other things as well so I don’t know if it’s me or them (I love using that line). :)
