Penn & Teller’s Smoke and Mirrors

While reading up on all things important this morning, one link really caught my eye. Waxy.org has an article about a video game that was developed by Penn & Teller for the Sega CD and 3DO consoles back in the mid 1990′s. I never had heard of this game (and being the genuine Penn & Teller fan) I was extremely interested.

What really caught my eye was the following:

The most infamous part was “Desert Bus,” a “VeriSimulator” in which you drive a bus across the straight Nevada desert for eight hours in real-time. Then you drive it home. Also, I’d read the bus veers to the right, so you can’t just leave the joypad propped up. The rumor was that if you won the game, you got one point.

How awesome is that? :) Check out waxy.org for a link to a .torrent of the game and the info you need to get the game up and running.
