I wish Adidas knew how many hits a day I’m getting from people searching for “Team Zissou Adidas” and “Team Zissou Shoes” (all pointing to my original posting about the shoes in the movie, “The Life Aquatic“)…
The number of hits I’m seeing daily could easily justify the production costs.
I know at least I would buy a pair no matter what Gawker has to say. They’re probably pissed because they don’t have any more room to put an ad on their site the day Adidas starts making them. :)

Hey, maybe you should design Team Marusin shoes? I would only hope they would have the blue stripes and double velcro fasters, and handy storage pockets on the top for spare change or a jump drive.
