Where have I been? Where have you been?
Well, I’m hoping I have gotten back to my somewhat normal life.. I’ve been on the road since last Saturday between Vegas and the Boston area. I’m looking forward to sleeping in my own bed again tonight and not dealing with hotel life for a while (although our hotel in Vegas was kick-ass)…
Some observations I’ve made while being gone: - Vegas in the middle of June is very hot… - I have no desire to ever own a Ford Mustang after driving one for the last week (although driving a convertible was pretty nice) - Massachusetts is very wooded compared to Chicago. It’s interesting to see office parks surrounded by lush trees and nature rather than asphalt parking lots and TidyBowl-colored retention ponds - There are certain people you see throughout the week at the hotel that you know have some freaky stuff going on behind closed doors - I am very dependent on the Food Network and don’t realize it until it’s not available on the cable package at the hotel

No kidding dude. The Mustangs you get when you rent from Hertz have the weakest engine possible. If you actually bought a Mustang from a dealer, chances are you would opt for the better engine. You forget that chicks like to get convertibles, they don’t care about engines. The stock Mustang really sucks to drive, but it handles nicely once you finally get moving.

I stayed at the Venetian in March. You’re right, very nice. I think the only place better is probably the Bellagio.
