Some words of advice…
Please go buy the new Sonic Youth album, “Sonic Nurse”.
It may very well be the best album I’ve heard in 2004 so far.

Excellent album. The only albums I’d rate higher are Seven Swans and A Ghost Is Born.

I completely agree with you on AGIB… I was trying to pretend like I haven’t heard it yet.
Now you ruined my posting for the week of the 22nd when I was supposed to say: “AGIB is by far the best album I’ve heard this year (even better than Sonic Nurse!)…” :)

well, I gave the Sonic Youth album a “once over” and say it is “ok”. You need to be a Sonic Youth fan to enjoy it. To an outsider, it is almost unlistenable.
On another note, I am sadly disappointed that I have not seen any mention of the new PJ Harvey release on Marusin.com. The PJ Harvey release is much better than Sonic Nurse, but NOT as good as Stories from the City..Sea.
