Panthers, iPods, You Name It

So Friday night found me at my local Apple Store spending way too much money on Panther and a brand new iPod (go 40gb or go home).. :)

I was just talking about my original iPod and have really needed to upgrade from my original 5gb model and had a feeling that I would be getting a new 40gb model if Apple was having any sort of discount on purchases if you bought Panther. My iPod has served me well over time and I’m sure Liz will get use of it on her commuting. Now I need a new hard drive on my computer so I can rip more mp3s of my cds.

Panther installed on my iBook without a hitch and is really running quite nicely. The majority of changes in this version of the OS are not on the front-end, but underneath the hood. My computer is running faster than ever and everything seems very tight and resposive.
