Chicago Flash Mob

Tomorrow marks the first official Flash Mob in Chicago (at least the first one I’ve heard of?)… In a nutshell, a Flash Mob is a large group of people that organize to meet at a specific place at a specific time, some peaceful/strange act is performed and everyone quickly disperses. Sounds cool yet strange? Yup! It completely and utterly overwhelms anyone who is not part of the “mob”.

What’s really cool about a Flash Mob is the fact that a large group of people who don’t even know each other can organize and quickly know about an upcoming event within a day’s or even an hour’s notice… It really demonstrates how fast and how powerful technology and data really are.
