Pour Out A Little “OE” For the VW Beetle
… It’s kind of sad when you think about it. This car had a look that is completely timeless. The “original” Beetle had personality and made an owner love their car. Almost an inanimate attraction…
I’m proud to say my very first car was a 1974 Volkswagen Super Beetle (powder blue with one orange-painted door)… I bought it for $250 back in 1990 when I started driving. It’s kind of cool for the fact that that car was built in the same month/year I was born… I wish I still had it. Now I’m feeling the need to find some pictures of it.

My first car was a green 1970 Beetle that I had for a few years in the early 1980′s. I really enjoyed the character and odd quirks of the car. Unfortunately I have lost all pictures in a basement flood a number of years ago.
