Street parking in Chicago sucks…
Street parking in Chicago sucks… We all know that… Let me describe the newest dillema… When they do a street cleaning, they will do one side of the street one day and then the other side the next… Makes sense… People that don’t drive to work can park on some other street or move it to the other side of the street…
But what happens when you have some sort of Sewer maintenance on both sides of the street for 3 days… Well, I would think I’d just move around the corner… The same Sewer maintenance is going on both sides of the street there as well… So there is absolutely nowhere to park in my area without getting towed… I’ve seen the City of Chicago workers and how fast they move…. You know they aren’t going to canvas a 10-block radius in one day… I doubt if they hit the whole thing in the 3 days that they are estimating!
Who is behind this idiotic project? I’m saying the parking lot owners downtown that forced me to have to drive into work today for $14.00 parking…
